Mostly just doing an stupid test in case I'm missing something. I have an Epiphone Les Paul custom that I'm looking to add a bigsby to. Once I get some pedals and junk sold, I'm going to purchase the following.

Bigsby B7

Vibramate kit. I'm getting the chrome because it's cheaper, and as far as I can tell, the chrome parts won't be visible unless you're up close inspecting the guitar.

That's not a B7. That's a B70. You have to have the B7, the 70 is an import model and won't fit on the vibramate.
You don't need the string spoiler. It's probably a nice addition but you might want to try it without one first to save yourself $50.

Does the Vibramate mounting kit even work with the B70? I think it's made for the B7 so he'd have another stumbling point there.
I don't think the B7 costs anymore than the B70's I've seen on Amazon so all he has to do it get the other Bigsby and he'll be all set.

No, it doesn't work with the B70. That's why you have to get the B7. The mounting layouts are different.
