Fender Strat Pickup Swap
I was just thinking how cool it would be to have one normal fender single coil, one P90, and one humbucker in a strat. How hard would it be to mod the guitar with these pickups?

There is normally enough wood routed out underneath the pick guard to take a humbucker, you just need to cut a bigger hole in the scratch plate itself (buy another and keep the original in case you want to go back to stock one day). You may have some difficulty fitting a normal sized P90 but humbucker sized P90's are plentiful.
This will probably interest you greatly: http://www.seymourduncan.com/produc...t/prails_shpr1/

I'll have to look into the single coil sized humbuckers. And does anyone have any experience with the P-Rails? I was looking into those before I posted the thread, but wasn't sure how they sounded.
