Superior Drummer Preset Thread
Hey guys,
Anyone want to share their Superior Drummer presets? I am having difficulty getting the drums to sound professional, although it beats having them done in GP6. Anybody got a preset for Avatar or Metalheads they would like to share? |

I've not got any presets for SD as I always start a kit from scratch, although I find that to get a professional sound you really need to fiddle about with various processors (Eq/compression mostly) and a high pass filter at around 30-50 Hz on everything that doesn't need low end really helps to clean things up, especially if it's heavier stuff your making.
And a wee last pointer, distortion can go a long way on drums as surprising as it sounds! Not the in your face kinda distortion, subtle amounts really sweeten things up.
