The 'New Music I Found Today' Thread

Thought it'd be a good idea to make a thread we can all post new music that you'd recommend to other people.

I'll start.

Just found a real good new blues musician called Gary Clark Jr. Just released his debut.

Go!

I found this yesterday, but it's the latest thing i found, it's Rabbit Rabbit Radio-

A project by Carla Kihldstedt and Matthias Bossi of Sleepytime Gorilla Museum. It may not be for everyone, but i find it exciting, and i have trouble coming to terms with the fact that the first video that i posted doesn't even have over 300 views.

But Gary Clark Jr has albums dating back from 2004?

This isn't new for me really, but I've been listening to this almost exclusively for the past couple of days.

Yeah I was listening to them, wasn't a fan. All their songs sound exactly the same to me. I hope that drummer of theirs forms his own band though.

On topic:

My most recent "discoveries"

I realize neither one is a "new" band but they're new to me

So he does. Shows how recently I found out about him, I was under the impression that his latest release was his debut, but it's actually just the first one on a big name label.

Not really listened to much Bloc Party, but the riff in this is awesome.

This nothing new for most people but I've discovered how good Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band are. Bruce's albums are boring minus three songs but the live stuff is really good.
