I don't give because I think the ones that they send out to get them the money, are too pushy.
Plus I don't give a damn about the first world problems they usually represent. Might be different if there's someone collecting for Africa etc. but I never see those anymore. Guess the real world problems have disappeared from the radar, whereas Cancer has now gone to the number 1 spot of important charities. As if 5 euros cancer research does more good than 5 euros dinner for poor African children.

I work with them in school. There's always an assignment where we have to do some brand positioning and evaluation. Sometimes we actually have to contact them and work with them.

My mom works at a place that gives medical supplies and medication to people who can't afford it. Only certain medications though, like I don't think they give out pain killers.
I think it's a good idea.
