Fulltone OCD
I just recently bought a fulltone OCD. I love the sound, it has everything I want, but I ran into a slight problem.
I have a 12v power adapter for it, but it won't get any power. This is the second pedal I've bought so I don't have much experience with them. Anyone know whats wrong? It worked (unplugged) for about 2 days until it finally died (from retail). Now I can't use it. EDIT: It's plugged into the same power strip as my amp and my amp is getting power, does it have to be a certain type of adapter? Last edited by zeppfloyd93 : 11-21-2012 at 12:44 AM. |

are you sure the adapter was DC (what pedals run on) and not AC (what comes out of your outlets?
if you fed it AC you probably killed it. i have used my OCD at 18 volts (again all pedals are DC) and it sounded great. i have tried it at 12 volts and sounds good there.

Damnit! You're right. I didn't even think about it. I hope they will let me get a new one?

Nevermind, the adapter that I used was a DC but only 5v, why it didn't charge. But, I found a 12v one that I had, but it's for a piece of netopia equipment, would it be safe to try it? Would a standard one work, or will I have to buy a Dunlop one?
