^^Well, my argument is that I'd rather move two 60 pound boxes than one 100 pound box -- hence a cab + a head. It's a little more money for a cab + a head, but I think it would be worth the extra.

Chances are, TS would be extremely happy with a 6505+ 112 anyway...I know I am.

my Ultra weighs 70 lbs so it's only a little more than the 60 you are talking about. with a dolly it's no biggie at all. the 6505+ isn't exactly light either.

Is it worth 200 extra to buy a 5150? Honestly I don't need the extra speaker. Tone is what I am talking about here. Is the tone worth another 200?

I'll take "sooks" to be one of your weird little Aussie phrases meaning weakling or somesuch - in which case, yes. Yes we are. I am a delicate mayflower built for stroking art out of my instrument. I got techies for all that manual labour, that shit is beneath me.

The 5150 will hold its value better and it is just a better amp. Which one sounds better is a matter of opinion some prefer the + circuit, some don't. By the time you upgrade the speaker and tubes there's not going to be a lot of difference money-wise. Chances are you will need to change tubes regardless of which one you buy though; the 5150 because they are old, the 6505+ because they are crap.

Sook = cry baby.
Yeah, roadies are a good thing but even if you have roadies you should have some trolleys for them to use for their safety as well as your equipment's. Bottom line, if you have the right moving gear weight shouldn't be an issue.
