Need help identifying my own time signatures
Hello;
I'm currently jamming tons of DT and I have a problem with a rhythmic pattern I came up with just now. It goes: | |-| |-| -x--x-x--x-x- x4 (This is a simple 4/4) |--|--| -x-x-x- x3 (a 3/4) | |-| | |-| | |-| -x--x-x--x--x-x--x--x-x (now this is a 3/4th again, but here is my problem) I'm having a hard time explaining this rhythm pattern to people that I play with. Would this be a 4/4+3/4x2 or a 4/4+6/8? I know that 3/4 and 6/8 are the same but it's just about the groove and the pattern that repeats. After the first 4/4, would the second patter better come off as a triplet in 4/4th repeated 4 times and then changing to the 3/4? Is there any certain name for the rhythmic change but consistency in the rhythmic pattern?

uhm, could always be 15/8 in one measure (1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + + 5 + + 6 + +)
or 3/4+9/8 however you want to put it unless i'm reading it wrong, it seems pretty simple
