Just as an aside, Timeghoul is one of the greatest names I've ever heard. Like the greatest 50s B-movie ever.
Timeghoul Anyway, you guys all know I'm about as untr00 as a box of fruit loops, so this will mostly be core-related releases. Ascariasis - Ocean of Colour EP Between the Buried and Me - The Parallax II: Future Sequence Periphery - Periphery II: This Time It's Personal The Omega Experiment - The Omega Experiment The Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza - Danza IIII; The Alpha - The Omega Glass Cloud - The Royal Thousand Cattle Decapitation - Monolith of Inhumanity Thy Art is Murder - Hate A.I.(d) - Disorder The Safety Fire - Grind the Ocean Xehanort - Birth Demo And then a bunch of totally not metal in the slightest; Every Tme I Die - Ex-lives Fun. - Some Nights Exotic Animal Petting Zoo - Tree of Tongues Sworn In - Start/End EP Circa Survive - Violent Waves I See Stars - Digital Renegade (no care, ever)

I didn't realize that so many bands I like released albums this year. The only band off the top of my head who had a new release that I really enjoyed was the new Napalm Death album because I haven't followed new releases at all. My favorite release of 2012 is probably the Odd Future album though, followed Murs and 9th Wonder's new release.

They sell too many CDs? Im in the US and just recently found them. I'm very much in love with that new CD. But then again I also like the new Deftones and Parkway Drive. Despite that - Im a metal kid at heart. Some will hate. |

If we're really counting Timeghoul here, then of course. Other than that, kinda out of metal releases here. Oh, right, my band's album, obviously. Top of the heap, cream of the crop, etc. *LINK IN SIG; FREE ALBUM; CLICK NOW* ![]() Non-metal, I forgot that Dead Can Dance album, that was really good. Apparently there's a new Avishai Cohen album out, that can't be bad, haven't had the chance to hear it yet. Still kinda disappointed about no Gorguts this year. Ben Monder's new album doesn't seem to be appearing this year either... Zero doubts about either of them belonging on that list.

Nah they're just not very good. I've already had 90's Scandinavian Melodic Death and so Sylosis just seem kinda pointless and dull... also heard from a reliable source that half the band are awful people which doesn't help.

Gotta be careful what you hear". I've rubbed shoulders enough with bands that have good reps and bad reps and its funny how they turn out. Dillinger had a bad rep but were some of the best people I've ever met. Evan from Biohazard lived up to his douche name. Mark from Chimaira was ****ing amazing after a minute but seemed PISSED at first. Otep was the worst. And I've heard good things about them. Ugh. |

Please. You don't even know me. You don't have to be KVLT 100% of the time. I bet you have Bieber or some guilty pleasure on your iTunes. I still buy all my CDs. The last few I picked up were: Converge Acacia Strain Deftones Machine Head (new live CD) Parkway Drive Sylosis ...and theres probably more Im forgetting off the top of my head |

I can't understand for the life of me why BTBAM has so many damn fans while sounding fairly dreadful most of the time. They're like the metal(?) version of Muse.
