NPD! (L6 content)

So, finally got together the money (it's effin' expensive in here -.-) and after short 2-month wait, I got myself a POD HD500. And here it is ^^

Now for a review....Considering how many reviews and sound demos there are, I think it's bit pointless to write another one. I'd rather just say a few things I've noticed and I haven't seen in other reviews.

Firstly: this thing is freakin' huge and heavy. I haven't really realized how big it is before the dude in the shop brought in the box.

On the positive side though: features, features, features....I'm still quite amazed what all can this box do. And I don't mean just the huge number of various effects n'stuff. It's the little things that make me really happy about this purchase.

Like, you can actually set up the input impedance of the effect so it loads the guitar pickups in same way and amp or a stompbox would.

Another 'little' yet awesome feature is that you can setup the output according to what you play through and let the pod compensate for your amp, so the presets sound the same whether you play through amp or record directly (I remember on my old pedal I needed to have separate patches for each situation).

That's pretty much all I wanted to say ^^

Some demos, mostly w/ excessive gain and really crappy playing (always takes me a lot of tweaking to get to the sound i want, also didn't have have that much time to play with it)

HNEFXD. they are really sounding good for the money. honestly i would take one of those and a powered wedge out for some small gigs and for some open mic's.
