Squier Classic Vibe 50's vs 60's.
So I want a Squier Classic Vibe for Christmas. I will be playing Lynyrd Skynyrd, Jimi Hendrix, and SRV on it, maybe some other stuff. Which would be better for me? I absolutely LOVE the Fiesta Red color with the Maple fret board. I don't really like the 2 tone sunburst with the pearl pick guard, and I absolutely HATE the candy apple red color on the 60's. So which would be better for me?
Current gear: See sig. EDIT: If the bridge pickup is too bright, I might want to change it to a (mini) humbucker, most likely a Seymour Duncan JB.

The biggest difference between them is the fretboard. The 50's one has a maple fretboard, and the 60's one has rosewood. Apart from that, it's only cosmetic differences.

No it isn't really. Though get the Simon Neil Sig if you want fiesta red. That guitar screams.

Kinda like the look of the Maple. What are the differences between the two? The 50's and the Simon Neil?
