No, applying yourself and being good at what you do gets you a job, and uni is a great place to do that and learn what you need. I hate when people say university sucks because they expect to do nothing, get a piece of paper and instantly land jobs. That's not how it works.

I used to feel like this, until I married my gf, traded my motorcycle for an rv, then traveled a wee bit with her before "settling." We live in an apartment, have about 3 bills, and generally have a chill time. Now we're moving out to Dallas to follow a dream we've both had for ages (not about moving to Texas, but the opportunity is there.) Idk, I've had an interesting run since I turned 18, including living abroad for a few years for cheap, joined the army, started a few bands and became a worship pastor. Now I'm picking up and leaving, to start over.

Adulthood is what you make it man, if Law is your dream, focus on that first, remember why you wanna do it, and just keep pushing through it.

At least when I was younger I had hobbies to pass the time while waiting to die.

I'm 19, living at home and working on an engineering degree. I just landed a full time position at Ericsson for an 8 month internship that pays decently and my family still wants to take care of all my expenses. My workload and schedule is stressful though.

I couldn't give the slightest shit about thinking about marriage or family or whatever. That can wait for when I'm old.
