Tube suggestions for Fender hot rod deluxe preamp?
I am looking to change out the pre-amp tubes on my fender hot rod deluxe, I am going for a super smooth clean tone because i mostly play ambient/post rock stuff. The amp currently takes 12AX7A pre-amp tubes.

IMHO - new production Tung sols are great for clean (JJs for darker tones). Understand though that the difference between the two is miniscule.
