Information on a particular amp desperately required

Hi guys I recently made a thread on here asking about which amp to buy. I decided through that thread and by testing it out in a shop that I really wanted the Fender Mustang II. However, my aunt works for a guitar manufacturer and she said that she can get me digitech or crown equipment at a reduced price. Now I didn't even know Digitech did amps, but I managed to find one called the Fusion 30XD 30 Watt 1 x 12" modeling combo guitar amp

Now here's my problem. I cant find a review of this amp or even a video showing how it sounds anywhere. I don't think they have them in my local guitar shops either. SO I'm asking if anybody knows how this digitech amp sounds? is it as good as a Mustang II? because they're the same price but I might be able to get the digitech one mcu h cheaper.

Also if this amp isn't worth buying, do digitech do any pedals that are widely used/considered great? (like the whammy)

Thanks in advance!

afaik digitech are held pretty high.
bad monkey, whammy, jamman, weapon and the hardwire series are sweet.

as for the amp.....

well its not released yet acording to the digitech website. so id grab one if i were you. if it sucks, sell it for alot more than you paid for it.

Well without any discount the Digitech amp costs 10 more that's all. Not sure how much cheaper I can get it I need to get back to her but I wanted to make sure it's worth it.

Oh and here's a link to shwo that it's available to buy in the UK

i will be honest, i'd probably prefer the mustang. they are both about even amps, but the mustang has USB interface capabilities and software to customize and DL new sounds.

I'm not fussed about the usb interface or software to be honest. If they similar in terms of capabilites other than that, I would probably lean towards the digitech if I can get it much cheaper. DO you know if I could get a good Hendrix or Nirvana tone through the digitech amp? I usually just use a clean channel then add a wah and distortion pedal

I'm confused and concerned as to why it hasn't been released yet. If it was unveiled at NAMM 2011 and now it's almost 2013, why no release?
