Hello everyone, I have been wanting to get back into playing the guitar after about a 5 year break. My best years playing were back in the mid 90's when I played every day. After getting married and having kids my playing got less and less so I sold all my guitars.

I don't want to tie up a lot of money in a guitar in case I just don't get back into it. I have a chance to buy a LTD SC 200 for $175. They want a little more but that is as high as I am willing to go since I can buy a Ibanez GIO for about that through my local guitar store, but I have never been a fan for the GIO series. My question is, is the LTD going to be a good guitar to get back into playing with? I don't know much about LTD's other then they are some how tied with ESP
