So, got this today... (NAD)
... from another member here at UG... that came to him from another member... that had it built by another member.
It's the CEC Toll-Free Express, built by the awesomeness of Craig (CECamps). ![]() I had been in the market for a new amp for a while. Ever since I got my Budda, I fell in love with it but it is just simply way too loud for any bedroom. I finally unlocked the "Police Called" achievement and decided it was time to get something quieter, which is what you are looking at. Not saying it's quiet by any means, but compared to the Budda, it's night and day difference. The amp is no-frills all-out classic British rock n' roll, just how I love it. Nothing fancy, just flip the switch up and go to town. For 10 watts, you wouldn't believe how much bottom end this thing has, especially playing through a good 4x12. Once I got it home and plugged into my closed-back 2x12, it was shaking my cologne bottles off the dresser 10 feet away on the opposite side of the room. Anyways, once I get my hands on a decent mic, I will take the time to make some good clips. Meanwhile, you can go to Craig's website and YouTube and watch a bunch of other good players jam on it. Oh, and thanks to Matt (mmolteratx) for letting me jump on this opportunity! ![]() |

technically there's another member involved that the first actual owner (me) bought it off of before it was even built.

Nice score!
![]() HNAD, glad you are enjoying the amp! I've transferred the warranty over to your name. FYI, it is covered under warranty until 6/20/2013. Shoot me an email and I'll send you a PDF of the manual which also contains the warranty info.

It's serial #1, so it only makes sense to keep it in the family.
But yeah, it's definitely been a doorknob ![]() |
