Can I connect an amp head to a combo amp 2x12 cab?

I have a Laney Ironheart 60W tube combo.
The cab is apparently rated for 160W RMS and it has many impendance jacks.
Can I disconnect the combo amp and connect a separate amp head into the combo cab?

Currently it runs at the 8 ohm connection.
The cab has jacks for like two 8 ohm connections, two 16ohm and one 16 ohm connection.
Now when I think about it, the combo cab is pretty much just the same cab like the Laney IRT212 cab but just in the same chassis as the amp.

As long as you can match the impedance and run the head straight to the speakers (not through the power amp of the combo) then you should be fine.

Of course I won`t run the amp through another amp!
Thank you guys!
