The Agile Thread
to stop people from making a ton of threads asking "is agile any good?" or "have you guys ever heard of agile?", just ask here instead of making new threads. Post reviews of your Agile gear, ask questions about Agile, etc.

Anyone know if rondomusic will have more colors for AL-2000? Or is it just the flame, white and black tops?

I just got $100 bucks from a family member and I want an SX strat so bad... But I need to buy new tuners and and other misc stuff for my Hondo to get it into working order. It doesn't make sense to have two project guitars running at the same time. I'll give it a week or two and if I land a job soon then I will buy it.

I was thinking of either getting the AL-2000 black with the gold hw or should I save up for the AL-3000MAP. Was also wondering if these were good for metal. If so, would the strings be thick enough to handle drop tunings?

You shouldnt have to upgrade anything on the SX Their made really well, i've had one of the strat copies for a good two years now all stock and have no trouble with it and play it all the time! |

^Only thing I'd really upgrade on the SX is the tuners and trem. Other then that I'd keep them pretty much stock. Maybe new pups down the line but I don't sweat it.

i am thinking of getting this - http://www.rondomusic.net/product1066.html
how are the stock pups? I was also thinking about getting the one with duncans, but i might end up saving some money if their stock pups are good.

God, I'd be so thankful for this thread if it actually managed to keep the agile fanboys out of the rest of the forum.
Thats not going to happen, though, so this thread is pretty pointless IMO.

What can ya say their damn nice guitars for the price
Hell of a lot better then anything you'd get from epiphone or squire thats for damn sure. Once you get to play one yourself it's pretty obvious why they have so many fans. Especially the higher up LP copies. |

When it comes to the stock pups in my AL I'm not really crazy about them. They don't blow me away or are anything special imo. Other people though really over these pups so this is just as much of a matter of taste as any other set of pups. They do get the job done and work for what I play as of right now. I want to swap them out but I have too much on my plate right now in terms of other guitar repairs and upgrades for me to gripe over them too much. I have a song that I am working on my myspace that I used my Agile for. The intro is both both pups, rhythm is the necks pickups and the little solo bit is done with the bridge. (song is still being worked on so sorry if you don't like it lol) Linky: http://www.myspace.com/ospdenny
