Hello all,

I have a Marshall JCM2000 TSL combo amp, and it's frustrating me at the moment.

Whenever it is turned on I can still hear my guitar but the amp makes a rather loud (and constant) whooshing/crackling noise, very like the sound you get through a phone when you're talking to someone who is in a strong breeze.

I know it's not the guitar because if I unplug, the noise continues. I think there's something wrong with the speaker circuitry, but I'm not too familiar with the innards of an amp.

Any ideas?
