Fun:
Ruin - Lamb of God (minus the crazy drum fill) This Dying Soul - Dream Theater Blood and Thunder - Mastadon Pulse of the Maggots - Slipknot And I don't find drumming boring at all, so I enjoy pretty much every song I play haha.

Also Pantera - Walk would be kinda boring.

Fun:
Sample based music like Hip-Hop, Trip-Hop, Ambient, Electronica, etc. Its awesome playing complimentary beats to create these insane poly-rhythmic syncopation's. Also practicing on groove and feel (straight vs swung feel exercises). me: Boring: IMO top 40 hits and most of anything that is on the radio (except the jazz stations). Never cared for Metal drumming either (even though i'm a drummer for 2 metal bands)

sultans of swing took me a while to land the rhythm correctly, but its my favourite to just jam to now. limelight is also fun, lots of room to have fun and do your own thing
