Randall T2/V2 or Marshall Jcm2000 DSL... help!
so I have been looking to get a new amp since i started gigging and it came down to these two amps (Marshall jcm 2000 or a randall t2/v2). i play thrash metal but with a mix of death metal as well. I want that kick you in the stomach high gain, and i always loved the sound of a marshall, but im torn between the two. What's your opinions?

I loved my DSL 50. It's definitely one of the better Marshalls for thrash.

DSLs are great.
I have not heard of that particular Randall. I know there RM modular series is fantastic. You can just swap pre-amp modules and have a practically whole new amp. If you get them used with a few modules you are set. That being said if the OP post some bands and his budget along with his closest city we might be able to find some options for him.

They are I had 2 of them V2 and 1 T2. Do not get me wrong if you can get a good 1 that works longer then 90 days they kick ass but for me I will not buy anything made by Randall any more.
As for Marshall I love my JCM 2000 DSL wish I went with Marshall 1st. |
