Guitars With Contours Park II - Strat (and/or Tele) Edition!
I thought the first thread I made about Les Paul shaped guitars went pretty well, a lot of guitars I've never even seen or heard of before were posted. Thead here:
Now I want to do the same thing for Strats/Tele styles. I know that these guitars for the most part already have contouring for the forarm and belly unlike the LP, but I'm curious to know if there are any Strat style guitars with a well designed neck heel. Not necessarily set neck or neck through builds, but bolt on necks that are designed well (a la AANJ). Anything out there? Enlighten me. ![]()

Thanks, the Godin Progression looks great. Going on my list.
http://www.godinguitars.com/godinprogressionp.htmThe Bevel looks very subtle on the American Deluxe. I see you own one - do you think it makes a big difference in comfort?

Late 80s & early 2000s Kramer SuperStrats (Showster, ProAxe & Stagemaster, FR422s & FR424s) were beautifully designed guitars with the most comfortable contours of any guitars that I have played.
Also the current Gibson/Kramer SM1s have gotten good reviews.

![]() ![]() ![]() Okay, so it's a superstrat, might not fit your criteria there, but it's quite curvacious and I love it. Killer price too, if you ask me. Pickups are the only real weakness tot this RGA32. Some sounds: https://soundcloud.com/tuninggamer

Yeah the AANJ is great, but this thread is specifically about Strat type guitars. A superstrat is way too much of a deviation. I'm basically looking for Strats taht just have improved ergonimcs - so looking for single coils, maple/ash/poplar, that whole shebang.

Oh, woops, apologies ![]() Chapman ML-1 Reissue? It's basically an HSS strat, but it has somekind of an AANJ, haha. It's more of a strat than the superstrats, I guess.
