Hand Positioning
I've been playing guitar for about 1 year now and noticed that whenever my hand gets near the first 5 frets my hand is put at an awkward angle prohibiting me from using chords. The best way that I can explain is that my wrist isn't at the position it should be is there anyway I could fix this?

The video helped quite a bit, but it still isn't what it should be. Is it just me in general or am I just doing something wrong.

You're probably doing something wrong but without seeing what you're doing that video is as good as it gets unfortunately.
