Peavey 6505+ 112 Footswitch?
Hey guys! Firstly I'd like to say that I've searched for ages on the internet and on these forums for an answer to what I'm about to ask, but I couldn't find anything.
Well, since my Bugera 333xl's footswitch decided to play up I thought I may as well buy a footswitch for my Peavey 6505+ 112 and use that for gigging instead. I am unable to find any 6505+ 112 footswitches in stock anywhere in the UK. So I am wondering, would any of these work with it? http://www.gak.co.uk/en/peavey-foot...-03564630/21443 or http://www.gak.co.uk/en/peavey-foot...-03564640/41834 They do not specifically mention the 6505+ but are the only ones in stock and at a cheap enough price for me right now. They look extremely similar. Thanks for your help in advance!

Not sure. I tried a roland footswtich with mine, thinking it would work, its just a 1/4 " simple switch, but no it didn't surprised me, I thought any would work, I tried reversing the wires, still no, I guess order the original online if you can

This bad boy is built better than the standard 6505 switch, has the buttons a bit farther apart for easier footstomping, and has LEDs that will be nice on a dark stage. The channel switch will switch channels and the effect switch will engage or disengage the crunch on the green channel. There is another version on ebay for $10 less that doesn't have LEDs. Both these models ship worldwide.

They will probably work, even if they're not labeled correctly.
I highly recommend you skip that and just get a Boss FS-6. I used to have one that I used with my ValveKing and my 5150. Very well built, as expected from boss. The only crappy thing was that it was active and only took batteries so you had to unplug your cable from it to turn it off. Still a great pedal for the price though. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Boss-FS-6-G...=item25786ec07d

What kind of connector does the 6505 combo use? I have a head which uses a 7 pin DIN footswitch.

^^Was going to post this, but was too lazy. The FS-6 was a solid investment that I will never regret. As for it needing batteries, I bought a pair of rechargeable batteries and a charger for that pedal and my TS-9. I only have to charge them about every other month overnight, as long as I always remember to unplug them after each session.

out of the 2 you mentioned, this one:
http://www.gak.co.uk/en/peavey-foot...-03564630/21443 this is similar to the one i use. the button on the right switches the crunch channel between clean and crunch, whilst the button on the right, switches between the crunch and lead channels. the actual one i have is for the peavey windsor or valveking and has lights to distinguish what channels are on... green if the right button is activated and red for if the lead channel is activated. here is a link to the pedal i use: http://www.gak.co.uk/en/peavey-valv...footswitch/5131 ![]()

It's a 1/4" stereo jack connection. Well generally I'd prefer LED's but if the only things I can buy don't have any, I think I can manage without So will those two mentioned in my OP work for definate on my Peavey amp? I can imagine they're the same circuitry inside (minus the LEDs).

If they are 1/4 stereo connectors and 2 button footswitches I don't see why they wouldn't work.
