Overhyped movies.
Influenced by the other two threads, what are some films that you believe were overhyped?
Avatar. CGI was great but the story was average at best but people treated it like nectar of the Gods. Anchorman. Funny bits but I dont think it's the great comedy everyone says it is. Go!

Raging fucking Bull!!!!
Most over hyped film of all time. It's one of the most boring movies I've ever seen. It's literally two hours of nothing and then it ends. There's seriously nothing there. I can't even fathom how people call it the best movie of all time.

People shit themselves over how "amazing" Avatar was.
Not to mention... Iron Man The Avengers And every other sub par ****ing super hero movie that they've been pumping out these days. Once Dark Knight came out, Every director's vaginies got wet over making super hero films. So now, they pump them out a dime a dozen.

The second half didn't feel like a Bond film. Better than Quantum Of Solace overall but not as good as Casino Royale.

i hated inception. it was supposed to blow my mind but it wasn't even that interesting. now people yell inception at anything mildly recursive and i want to die because they like something i don't like.
