Pedal Board Order
I have been away and collected a few new pedals to me board, and I wanted kind of an idea on how to set them up. Here is list from guitar to amp in order by my theory, pleas tell me if i should switch some around.

Do you have an effects loop in your amp?
If not then try: Tuner, compressor, harmony, whammy, wah, dist, eq, flanger, chorus, loop If you have a loop: Tuner, comp, harm, wham, wah, dist, loop, amp. Fx loop, eq, flanger, chorus. But it's all about experimentation and finding what's best for you

Try the orders out for yourself, that's the only way to guarantee you'll be happy with it.

To be fair, it would be impossible to try every possible order, so blind trial and error isn't a great solution here.
Neither is just telling you exactly how we would do it either, though, so we'll do a little in between. There are a few "hard" rules that are good to follow and can start your framework - -A compressor should be really early in the chain, probably right after the harmonizer, whammy, and tuner. -Pedals that need to track (harmonizer, whammy) need to be before any effects so they don't glitch. So those go right after the tuner. -The EQ can go anywhere, that's a preference thing. -Wah can be before or after distortion (that's one you really have to decide for yourself) but there probably shouldn't be anything in between the wah and distortion. -The chorus and flanger really need to be after distortion, assuming of course that you'll ever use them at the same time. -The loop should be last in the order. If you follow those general rules you've narrowed down your ordering options to the point where you can just try a bunch and see what you like.
