Hey guys,

Im not sure if I can even post this things here, but I need help. Im doing a school project, a short film about consumerism, and I would like to know what you guys think about it, what could be improved/changed etc. In order to make my work better.

As I said the film had a specific theme (consumerism) and had a time limit as well as a song limit (couldnt use much more than 1 min, hence the dialog).

Its not too shabby, but use a tripod!!! Some of the still shots are a bit shaky; my film teacher hounded on us about that

I actually really liked that, well done. My only criticism is that the female voice-over about the 3000 ads seemed too loud and drowned out the music, it honestly didn't really fit with the tone of the rest of the video and song too but I guess you need the message.

Yeah pretty good though and good choice of music.

It was a choice not to use the tripod, although I should have, specially on the house shots, which are way to shaky.

My advice is to stick to a certain style. The start took a little too long to get to the dialogue. Every shot was good, everything was alright, even the voice acting wasn't bad. But it started like a music video, continued like a documentary and then ended like an art film. I don't know much about making films, so don't read too much into what I say

It was good though. Well done.

I couldn't really hear the dialogue because I have shitty netbook speakers but I liked the different perspective of shots. And, yeah, use a tripod.

Also, as someone said earlier, the way the woman spoke didn't really fit into the video. She just spoke with too much enthusiasm.
