Pot Southern Metal, anyone?
What kinds of Southern metal bands do you like?
Ranging from doom metal to sludge metal.
I'd have to say, my favorites are:
Choke
Acid Bath
Southern Whiskey Rebellion
The Men Of Porn (they're actually from San Francisco but they deffinitely look and sound like South Louisiana men)
and EyeHateGod

I'm totally into these sludge/doom/stoner metal bands so it'd be cool to post any underground bands you know of (:

I've only ever listened to one song by Down one time. I can't remember which but I know I listened to it. I should go back and check them out (:

Every time I die aint bad for this, but Weedeater, Demonic Death Judge, Down, Soilent Green, Converge two, a little, Black Tusk, Red Fang..

..are good bands.

That's how I found some sludge bands from the NOLA scene (:
I LOVE every band from the NOLA scene that I've had the pleasure of listening to, thanks to Tracy McGinnis from Choke.

Haha, well I wouldn't say crap. But they certainly aren't southern metal. :p
And yeah, I think Hellyeah! is southern metal. I don't listen to them but a friend of mine does and I think she said "cowboy metal" at some point.
