Hey there, A long while back I bought this microphone during a Musicians Friend Stupid Deal Of The Day. I have this mixer And I was very new to music when I bought these, and didn't catch that the Mixer doesn't offer enough power to power the Mic, 48 phantom power. Is there some sort of power box or something I can get that would power the mic but still allow it to feed into the mixer? I mean besides a new (and better) mixer. I'm aware this gear is starter stuff, that's what I'm looking for, I'm not recording by any means. Thanks for the help, sorry if it's obvious what I'm looking for and I didn't find it

You need an external preamp for your mixer. Check this out, this is what I have. http://www.musiciansfriend.com/pro-...CFQ-f4AodJgoATQ

You can also get what is called a phantom power box.
