I wouldn't even begin to know.
If you think Egnaters are overpriced, you better sit down when I start quoting our Mesa prices... You can get a Dual Rectifier for $800 - $1000 used.

I don't know any personally. One of the other guys might know more.
We really are spoiled here in the US when it comes to price and availability. I mean, even Marshalls and Oranges aren't really that bad in terms of price hike. Not NEARLY as bad as Mesa. New Triple Recs here are like $2000 iirc.

230V EDIT: Is it possible to buy something from e.g. Musiciansfriend and have USPS or Fed-Ex ship it for you, maybe call up the store and ask them to ship it to the postal service, which then gets it along to Iceland? Shipping the amp with usps would only cost around $100 to iceland, which ain't too bad Last edited by jonthorsigmunds : 12-10-2012 at 08:55 PM. |

You'll need a step down transformer. Have you looked at the H&K Tubemeister range?

Yeah, Egnaters work with both. They're pretty intense about compatibility. It's selectable which one you want.

america's 110V, that's the problem. as people have been saying, though, some amps have selectable voltage (but far from all amps).

^ bear in mind it'll only work with amps that have the voltage selector (unless you get a step-down transformer).
I honestly have no idea regarding the shipping. a lot of the time american stores won't ship internationally on certain brands so those brands can continue to sell their products at totally acceptable prices (!) outside the USA.
