'NPD' - Joyo Vintage Phase.
Joyo pedals have become quite the items of interest as of late, so I thought I'd give one a shot.
Sorry for the bad pics: ![]() ![]() ![]() It sounds pretty good, it does what I need perfectly fine, if I ever replace it it'll be with an MXR Script Phase 90, which I assume this is meant to be cloning anyway, it'd be quite nice to compare them to see how accurate it is. I didn't realise how much I liked this pedal til my band practice earlier, this pedal can really fill out certain guitar parts. There's not much more to say, it's a simple, quite nice sounding, phaser. =) I did a quick video too, like half an hour after I received the pedal: Not the best representation of what it can do, but it gives a vague idea of how it sounds. =)

![]() Would be keen to hear it compared to a script 90 - you didn't say how much you paid but I assume its was sub $50... it sounds great for the money. |

Ah, sorry about that, it was £30. I think in the US they go between $30 and $50. =) I too would like to hear it compared to a Script 90! =)

It's a shame Joyo don't do a reverb pedal, I'm so desperate to try summin by them, but I don't really need anything else.
Happy new pedal day bro

HNPD man! Looks great and is really spurning my interest in grabbing a couple of their pedals. I'm planning on snagging the tuner and the 6 band EQ myself!

Biyang Baby Boom is priced pretty similarly to Joyo's stuff and is a pretty great sounding pedal from what I've heard of it. Maybe look into that?

Fisheth24, there's a link to a video in my first post if you want to hear how it sounds.
T7E, I hear that their chorus isn't as good as the Tonerider chorus, it's cloning the same thing, I haven't tried the Joyo, but the Tonerider is amazing! Worth checking it out, similar price and stuff. =) Yooxa, yeah, same pedal, different name. Thanks all! =)

The Bad Monkey is an overdrive. This is a phaser. I doubt they're comparable.

True, I did word that really badly, I meant what it sounds like whilst being in the same chain as my BM and my Boss CE-3. My bad.

It's great, had it for 4/5 years now, it's been through countless gigs with no backup and stuff, great quality. =) (Though of course when I bought it it cost about £600, now it's been bumped to about £1000. v_v) Quote:
I think the reason it sounds so subtle on that video is the volume. It really opens up when playing with higher volumes, still quite subtle, but it feels lot bigger at higher volumes. Reacts incredibly well with distortion too! =)

I am really attached to music and have a collection of musical instruments back in my home town. This gives me a refreshing look to have such updated instruments details. Hope you maintain the quality of these posts in future too. (ad removed)
