It's the color scheme that ruins it for me. The maroon on the body just doesn't look right with the flame top on the "V". Here's a quick photochop job. I think something like this would have looked a lot better. I'd buy one

Now that looks awesome.
Lemon, the 4+2 headstock is sort of an EBMM trademark, but yeah it's not the best suited to this style.

I know the 4+2 is a trademark, but I'd much rather they abandoned it for a guitar or two.
Imagine if the Flying V or the explorer had the open book headstock. http://www.topgunguitars.com/guitars/explorer_front.jpg the explorer looks stupid enough with a pointy(ish) 3+3 headstock. The classic one would look even worse.

Huh, I'd rock it, even with the headstock.

Would have been fine in one solid colour. The flame on solid idea is cool, but just doesn't work for me.

Honestly, if they changed the color scheme and got rid of that terrible V, I'd be all over this. Having said that... I'll stick with the JP models and the Axis models, thanks.

Would look better with a 3x3 headstock, but that wouldn't be very Music Man-ish. I'd still love to try one out. They do great work. I do agree with some others that the black/tobacco looks 100x better than the one on the EB/MM site.
