had that happen to me once too. i remember when she said yes i still wasn't that happy about it because i figured it was gonna go to shit anyway. my friends bitched me out about it a bit for that, but once nothing happened after like a month the only thing i said to them was "i told you so".

I asked, no response.

But to her credit she was asleep. So I just got on with the job.

Agreed. I had another girl tell me "Sorry, I don't date." Which was clearly bullshit for "I don't want to date you, but I can't say no directly."

There's a difference between what you say, and what you SAY. Nah mean Pit brosizzlez?

We were like 13. She liked me, I liked her, I texted asking if she'd be my gf, we continued texting for a few months, and hanging out at school, but I was a clingy bitch and she was also annoyed that we never hung out outside of school, so it ended.

Even though I had a "girlfriend" before I left elementary school, it wasn't until I was about 16 that I had straight up asked a girl out. We have always and even still do like eachother obviously even though I rarely see her anymore. But she was just way too damn immature and turns out she must have had an on and off opinion about me, cause she said "I'll think about it".

......

Now, I was stubborn and kept on doing what I was doing for the rest of the school year.. We "saw" eachother that entire time but nothing happened. I knew what I wanted, she kind of knew what I wanted but was too immature to want it entirely or act on it. And I didn't pay attention to how I should have gone about it, cause it was wrong. I should have just walked away after she said that, even though I like her.. it was a waste of time.

Ironically, this was in junior year and a bit before I graduated the next year, it's like she suddenly realised what I really wanted and how good I tried to be to her. And we didn't even talk at that point. I could just tell, suddenly I saw her looking at me in the halls all the time.. some times staring when she didn't before. And I start hearing rumors of "how sweet I am" even though, again.. we hadn't talked in quite a while at that point.

Yeah that should do it, this story is quite cool(/a novel) enough now.

I'm nearly 26 and I've never asked a girl out

I lost my virginity at 22 (Hah! Gaaaaaay!) to a woman (she was 25) who pursued me, and I ended up wife-ing that bitch a few months ago

Why, you ask? My dad always taught me, "Son, if you're gonna go something, do it right the first time"

There's nothing wrong with that post though, unless you mean the lack of periods. I think that's okay though since he used line breaks.
