Just completed my gigging setup
Finally completed my gigging setup with an RG927QM. I traded my 7621 with a 27" neck and aftermath for this practically mint guitar.

The neck feels almost exactly the same as my UV7PBK. I looked online and they have the same dimensions but I still prefer my UV over it because of the satin neck but damn this thing sounds great even with the stock pickups. Ibanez finally did something right with the stock pickups in this guitar because setup to G# the low notes come out CLEAR.

I will probably swap them just because I'm used to BKPs now but I don't mind waiting until I order a set.

The finish on this one is beautiful too and I love the look of the wood binding around the whole guitar, it looks classy as ****. :fawk:

This is also my first time using the new Edge Zero bridge and I have to say that I am very impressed with it so far. It holds a tuning great and it's a bit tighter than the Edge 3 in my UV so palm muting doesn't bring the tuning out of wack.

Yeah the only thing I don't dig is the weight. It's actually a fair bit heavier than my UV.

That top looks incredible! It may be because I'm biased towards mine, but I'd still take a Universe over anything else.

I recommend checking it out man it really holds it's own. It feels stupidly similar but yeah I agree I still prefer the UV over it. Mainly because of weight though.

Nah it's just local NJ stuff for now. I'm actually working getting my band back together right now because we couldn't go on with a few people who really weren't committed. I've found a few different replacements and just seeing who works the best right now. Hopefully one day we can get to your area though Greg!
