Difficulties recording bass
Hi guys! I own a emu 0404 USB (audio interface) and I'm trying to record my bass through it. The only problem is that the sound that comes out is not right, like constant crackle (English is not my first language, its the best word I found ahah)
I tried to change the sample rate, didn't change anything. It works perfectly with my guitar, so I really don't know what's the problem. Any help would be appreciated! |

It sounded like there were way too much signal. I'm a noob when it comes to recording, so what I was trying was plugging my bass in my amp. Then I plugged my amp in my audio interface causing the noise (I could hear the bass though). I just tried to plug the bass directly in the audio interface and it works like a charm!
