What is one acoustic song that you love to play?

I am in love with playing Hey Joe at the moment.
If it's to loud, your to old!

There are so many........But lately I've been really hooked on "ring of fire" for the past while...........seems i can't pick up the guitar without playing this one at least once per......so simple but so fun to play and sing along with.

The guitar pieces I always end up playing when I pick my guitar up include these and a composition of my own that is, as yet, unrecorded.
Ryan Spendlove's Not That Strong

Amos Lee's Long Line Of Pain

Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah

And if you want something dead simple to play, I sometimes also hit up a bit of Zac Brown Bands Colder Weather..

Tom :-)

Al Stewart and Peter White wrote a fantastic song called End of the Day. It's my current challenge to learn to play as a solo arrangement.

Here's the original.

Al and Dave Nachmanoff, a different interpretation

I really enjoy playing Tim McIlrath's "Unknown Song". It's really pretty and I find it irresistible.

'Kimbie' - Jackson C Frank. Simple but effective.
'Spencer the Rover' - John Martyn. In Open D, has a lovely lilt to it.
'Simple Twist of Fate' - Dylan. In Open G, drops down the bass line, then slides up again.

I like playing Hurt by Johnny Cash. It's east to play but you get so much out of it. Great song and sounds great when playing alone.

I like chord-y stuff that I can sing along to, I'm always trying to find different stuff but I play a LOT of Bright Eyes. Right now I'm playing I Will Follow You Into the Dark by Death Cab it's a pretty fun progression. The Dm to C/F change is weird though.

Also Kiss Me by Sixpense None The Richer
