stupider question
first of all, stupider is a word.
okay. i've been charting for hours now. burnt out. i know i've done something to work around this before. basically i want to repeat a section; however, the riff starts on the + of 4 and ties to a quarter note on the 1 of the next measure. so if i put a repeat at the end of that section, do i end the last measure with an eighth note tied to nothing? or is there a more intuitive, logical method i can't think of? measure repeat symbol? i dunno. also, i realize i could just copy and paste the same section again. but this song is stupid easy and it seems silly to waste paper on doing that. I would probably just put a pick-up eighth note after the first repeat bracket and before the first measure (naturally) and then omit the + of 4 from the last measure in the repeat. Pretty sure I've seen that done before.
