The only artist I can say I had this thought about was Macklemore. We used to see him in high school open for everyone, but half the time I thought he was just as good as the main act. Now, I actually saw one of his videos on MTV and Thrift Shop has 30 mil views on youtube.

So Macklemore. But, it looks like he's already blown up.

Not as good as Tall Poppy Syndrome imo, but still worth getting.

They're also working on another one for 2013
