La Lluvia (Short Song, C4C)
Hey guys,
This is a new composition. I've deliberately used a pretty weird scale. Hope you enjoy, and of course, C4C.

Doesn't sound that wierd, its very neo-classical. Having the C# note in the first riff is a little dissonant, and not in the good way.

How do I get around this? Do I just change the C#s to other notes or...? Can I get a crit on the drums/bass parts?

Change the G# just before to a G on the highest string, then the C# to an open G note on the 4th string.
Well, for the bass, all that was really going on was following the root notes of the piano chords. Drums bits are equally as minimal, pretty basic rhythm with the simple purpose of 'being there' without really doing anything for the song. Then again, I'm not sure how this song is meant to sound realistically, so I guess what you have is a good place holder for whatever idea you put it next.
