Tone setting recommendations for vox and fender in stereo?
Hi
I have just got a vox ac30c2 to go along with my fender hot rod deluxe. I also have an aby twin city pedal. I was wondering if anyone could suggest some settings for each amp to get some interesting sounds. I plan on running the fender clean with no effects and the vox with all the effects including distortion pedal for the drive sound. Thanks Merry Xmas! |

Seems like you've stated most of the settings possible already, I think keeping the fender more bass heavy and the ac brighter will really help blend the cleans with the distortion. Just mess with the volumes to change the blend and you should be done. also watch out for any phasing.
Congratulations on the new amp, Merry Christmas! ![]() |

Hi.
Been recently trying to hone my sound with these two amps in stereo. Was wondering if people have tips for trying to get the right blend of distortion and clean from each amp? I'm struggling to get a tone that fattens out the distortion, whilst not having the distortion 'disappear' in the mix behind the clean sound. Any advice would be great or any alternatives in order to get a bigger sound. Maybe playing both amps with my distortion pedal would sound better? |
