Ok guys, 2012 is coming to an end and once again we survived the world's end (I'm only 23, and i think i survived 4 or 5 of these...), so it's time for the new and shinny

BASS RESOLUTION THREAD (2013 version)

For myself:
1) Develop my slap technique so i coul use my thumb,1, 2 and 3 fingers for plucking. Also introduce myself to thumbing (or thumping)
2) Get along with tapping.
3) Most importantly, improve my writting for bass.
4) A custom 5er would be nice. I'd be satisfied with a BTB though
5) Play lots of gigs with my band

For the Forum:
1) Mods. Make them appear
2) Drinks. Drink 'em
3) More Bass Porn.
4) More UROTM and that kind of stuff threads.

I'm intending to learn more theory, play a little more regularly and finally get a recording finished and posted for the learn-something-new-in-a-month challenge in the pit.

get into tech music school for bass performance.
play a load of gigs last minute to improve my on the spot playing.
learn tracks from chord sheets rather than tab and eventually completely by ear.
be able to know what my hands are playing in terms of intervals etc, i can do it on a fretboard but i have no idea how or why it works - when it does.
learn how to use punctuation better in my posts.
get an amp setup that is gigable.
fulfill last years resolutions.

Fix my damned tapping, it was good until I didn't do any for most of the year and now it's awful again.
Find the "perfect tone" for the band I'm currently in.
figure out how to solder without breaking the iron every 6 months so I can make my own leads.
Get started in making some effects pedals/rack effects.

It would look fine enough. We get high quality fenders, but ridiciously overpriced related to USA, Europe, and even Asian markets...
