I'm using a Zoom H2 as a USB interface in Garage Band trying to record an acoustic guitar.
I'm using some apple earbuds as monitors.
When I play a note there's a split second delay before it comes through the earbuds, and there's a delay before it's actually recorded.
very frustrating as I can't really record anything if I don't hear the note as it's being played.

For future reference, that sounds like a latency issue. If this happens again, if your computer can handle it, use a smaller buffer. If your computer can't handle it, look into getting ASIO set up.
