I'll try to get some bass in this month!
Don't know if they will be the same songs I'm doing though Definitely not the Protest cover. The bass in that song is absolutely ridiculous ![]() |

Yeah that's cool. They don't have to be the same songs anyway.

Yea, I was just making the distinction so you didn't go to the trouble of putting them all under the bass category too.
I'll let you know what I'm doing ![]() |

Looking forward to hearing the Periphery and PTH covers guys
![]() I have started looking at Telos and Lay Your Ghosts To Rest by BTBAM, may record one for next month. Also I have a few Satriani songs I have been learning which I may record sometime. First things first though, recording my solo EP for my dissertation ![]() |

If I do a collaboration with someone, am I able to do vocals for it even If I'm already entering a vocal cover?

Yeah you can do that. As long as it isn't the same category you're good to go. OP Updated.

Hey, kind of stupid question, but how do you guys put multiple recordings into one video. Like, how do I put both the guitar video recording and the bass video recording in at the same time in a split screen format. Can I use iMovie? Or is it another program?
Like how neigel has his video in the OP Oh, and Hatebreader. His video posted on Facebook can be viewed by everyone. I don't have Facebook and I can watch it. I saw you mention that earlier. Last edited by WCPhils : 01-04-2013 at 04:27 PM. |

If you are using a Mac then yes use iMovie.
You need to click and drag the second video onto the top of the first video file, and then a pop up box should appear. Click picture-in-picture. You can then change the length and positioning etc of the second video. I don't think you can do more than two videos simultaneously though, although I think Sony Vegas can do as many as you want which I think is what Niejel is using. I have used both and I prefer the way Vegas works to iMovie, but if you only need two videos at once then you may as well just use iMovie. |
