Knife attack in Woolwich, South London
Two muslim (apparently) guy attacked a serving soldier wearing a 'Help for Heroes' t-shirt just randomly in the street it seems. Apparently beheading him and dragging him into the road.
While the police were on their way, it seems the attackers were shouting "Allahu Akbar" and asking pedestrians to take pictures. Live coverage at that link As it stands, a soldier has been attacked and beheaded with a machete by two people. At least one was armed with a gun as well. The attackers stayed with the body, dragged it in to the road and asked passers by to take photos. Police arrived, shot at least 1 of the attackers and that is where we stand I think. |
