I hope Marussia continues to improve like they were doing in 2012. It's always good to see new teams get better and better every year!

A lot of people have been saying that McLaren will base their car exclusively around Jenson's driving style, since Perez has a similar approach and considering the fact that he will be their number one driver. If that's true, I think Button can be a serious championship contender if he does, as Boxhead said, "minimize his bad days".

Minimizing the bad days is how Alonso was able to stay so strong throughout the whole year. Days where he knew he couldnt win, he would pick up minor points paying places and not retire. Consolidation king. It's also how Jamie Whincup was able to win the V8SC championship this year, the FPR cars were just as fast but on off days they were REALLY off and out of it.

Button has never, in his entire F1 career, been good at minimizing the bad days. Saw this constantly with BAR.

When he's good, he's untouchable, but far too often he's not good. The only way he is going to get close to winning the WDC this season is if that McLaren is the equivalent of the Brawn.

2004 was a pretty good year for Jenson too. The BAR was a stonkingly good car though (although not as good as the Fez). I still giggle at the fact that he was practically naming right sponsor to Williams in the mid 2000s with his contract flip-flopping and had to personally buy himself out of what he had signed with them.

Mclaren have a history of letting their best drivers go. Senna, Alonso, Raikkonen, Montoya now Hamilton whilst they keep drivers like Coulthard and Button for ages.

I like the Jaguar colours but it would've been heaps better if it was all green. Best green coloured car from memory would be this. (Apart from 60's Lotus)



And the writing is on the wall for Webber. Helmut Marko has come out saying he's a designated support driver for Vettel and the season hasn't started yet.

British Racing Green is an amazing colour to go racing in, 50'sVanwalls, 50's 60's Lotuses and old Le Mans Jaguars, they were all gorgeous and won plenty at the highest levels
