I think we could cover more. I'd happily be editor or something similar, or a columnist or the social media person, to be honest. How are we going to arrange this? Do we want to set up a bit of a Skype call some time soon to arrange something?

This all seems really interesting and I'd be happy to contribute...altough I doubt I'd be able to really do anything important so.
 I'll stay on the sidelines I guess, haha. EDIT: I can comment on a bunch of stuff to make it look like UGF1 gets more traffic than it really does!

Both practice sessions for Malaysia are done by the time I get home from work, lame. Can't watch.
My opinion is to start and focus on F1, but we can add other codes later if we have the bandwidth. New codes can be for the future inclusions list. It can be a two stage approach - write and share our own news-based opinion pieces, but on social media share the straight news stories from autosport.com, gpupdate.net etc (which is similar to what the 'F1 Around The World' FB page does and is really good at it) so we are seen as a 'one stop' news hub as well as a more in depth blog opinion source when drilling down. Similar to when someone posts in here with something interesting to say 'hey check out this news' and everyone can read it.
I'm always on motorsport news sites so I can head this up. Mind you, this would be something on SM ONLY, not on the website itself where our written pieces are. That way we aren't plaigerising, we are only sharing. |

Well I'm pretty sure if you have a Youtube or GMail account, you have a Google account. Could be wrong about that. If I'm not, you may already automatically have a G+ account, but even if you don't, it's extremely easy to activate.

Yes lets take this discussion elsewhere, its a great plan but I think we have enough to go on that we can build and not clog up this thread from the regular motorsport happenings.
Nothing much has happened in FP1 so far - Guitarz had a spin, Kimi had a KERS issue, that's about it. |
