Single pickup coil help

I have an Idea to use one single-coiled pickup and use as least other things as possible to make a circuit for an electric guitar. For anyone that knows I ask for a diagram of how to connect a single coiled pickup and use little material and I don't want the tone control with it just yet. Please Send me a diagram or answer first for without the tone control, and with. Let both of them be with least coiling that there is needed. Thank you

Google pickup wiring diagrams. A few pickup makers have them on their sites.

The absolute simplest way to wire a single coil pickup is to simply connect the two wires to the sleeve and tip connection of the jack. No volume, no tone control and no on/off switch.
