Need Help Identifying Guitar!

It's some sort of Fender Telecaster, but I have no idea which one!

FFS lol.

I totally got my ass handed to me. I was looking at it thinking "G&L? Surely it says G&L..." And then you said Made in Indonesia and I'm looking at it thinking "That doesn't look like Made or Indonesia... It looks like G&L, but he said made in Indonesia..."

I even opened it in Paintshop and couldn't get it clear enough, it could have been 'made' in squiggly writing in my eyes.

You done good. The same shit happened to me with Toms Carvin so I'm actually an easy target.

HNGD!

The neck radius definitely doesn't feel like a 9" Radius. In fact, it feels very, very flat. I didn't buy this to be my go-to lead guitar, though. It's gonna be my wanna-be Bruce Springsteen strummer. I threw some .11's on it today, did a little tune up.

I'm actually a tad disappointed with the fretboard rosewood. I know the indonesian factory doesn't have the most quality stuff, but I have to admit that this piece feels close to laminate.

The neck pickups is VERY muddy. I'm going to be swapping it. The bridge pickups, however, is absolutely awesome. It rounds out well, and snaps at you with just a little more attack. I don't use any compression, mind you. My dynamic is completely based upon my technique, so that suits me very, very well.

Also, the Vintage White is a special edition. You can only order it through Studio Gear. You can't even find pictures of it on the internet unless it's from their ebay pages.

Long story short: It's worth the $450 I payed for it. Solid build, great sound, eh fretboard. The neck itself is nearly identical to my Special, but again, the rosewood's really not the quality I was expecting.

This is the first guitar I've bought from ebay since my Paisley Strat 3 years ago. I got lucky, though. That Strat is still my favorite to this day, however, I'm probably not going to be buying any guitars online again.

before you toss the neck pup, try lowering it and raising the pole pieces. that can clear up some of the mud. it's not an end all fix to every neck pup, but it can help in the meantime anyway.

i'd want a flatter radius myself.

love the white, but i'd hunt down a black guard for that ax.

now the bridge pup is the same as the usa ones right? i may snag that usa set of pups on the bay, or just find a tribute used somewhere.
