quick trade feeler question
i was offered a brand new mint peavey 3120 for my carvin legacy and gt10. is it worth it? im looking for a new amp in the 3120/xxx/5150 area anyway.

I don't think I'd do that, the Legacy is worth around $500 and the GT-10 is about $250-$300.
a used 3120 is about $500-$600. I know you're looking for one but it seems like you're just losing money on that deal. |

thats the issue. he is a buddy of mine too so i dont want to bone him or have me get boned but im just tired of the setup its too much for what i do.

FWIW...sometimes monetary value won't be the important thing, to me, if it's the amp you want and you don't dig the sound of the amp you have then that's it. sure you might be able to go sell your amp for more money, then go buy the new amp and whatever, but i'm such a bigger fan of trading now, it's just easier.
