A Challenge For You Maniacs

Who oh who can tell me what's going on in this tune?

An answer qua Harmony -- Which chords are being played, chord progression, extensions, etc.

Melody -- What is the melody doing, which notes and extensions is it bringing out from the chords, bassline, etc.

Rhythm -- Which rhythm patterns are being used, Accentuation, repetition, rhythm styles

(Pro Mode -- The same thing but on Dexter's solo)

Jeez, you may as well just transcribe the song.

I always heard if you want to play like someone you should listen to one's music and internalize into your playing.. how wouldn't it do shit for real understanding?

because none of that has anything to do with actually internalizing the music?
